A trip to Tresaith

The sun was out to play, and so were we.

The sun shone.
The sand was hot.
The sea was not.
We all went in.
I managed to swim.
We had ice cream.
Some had pop.
Kaitlin had her ice cream and half of mine.
Sian went paddling.
She was first in.
We all had stacks of fun.
We may go back on Monday.

I am off to bed.

  2. Oh Oh OH- we've been to Tresaith several times when the children were small, we loved the waterfall and the rock pools and everything except the walk back up to the car park at the top of the village!
I would love to live along that bit of coast somewhere

    1. It was my first visit and I am won over. It is exactly the right sort of beach, all that you need and absolutely nothing to "I want". The waterfall is suitably chilly and scream inducing, the rock pools are as warm as a bath and full of creatures, the caves are not too deep and scary. The walk back is hmmm, a good way to burn off the ice cream. I hope to take Sian and the children back tomorrow complete with their cousin Faith.

    1. It was a fairy tale day, all the better for being a spur of the moment thing.
