Still Here, keeping busy.

There has been lots of sneezing, at one point I thought that I should sellotape my eyes shut, just in case.
Lots of walking with Ben.
Quite a lot of cooking, and therefore eating.
A few bargains found.
Polishing, and so on.
More wild garlic found, and some gathered, Pesto mmmmm.
Then there was the scrap pile, bags and boxes.
Some sorting and pressing followed by heaps of lovely sewing.
The result has been squared up and edge stitched and now I am off to shower the threads away and then go out visiting friends.
Photos tomorrow and lots of words.

Finally to That Baby and her name, lovely to see her Grandmother remembered but even better to have such an old fashioned first name. I wonder if she will be Lottie.

    1. I am fine now, I do tend to have sneezy sessions, quite loud at that.

  2. I am keeping my fingers crossed, Pam hay fever season is upon us but I'm ok at the moment! Wild garlic still pickable round your way? Itry not to pick to long after flowering, and our local source 'went over' a few weeks ago. Enjoy your pesto! Lxx

    1. The flowers have only just started to open, I will probably do one more big pick and then leave it. I do not have hay fever, I am just a sneezy person, and at times it is overpowering, all to do with my sinus thing.

  3. Glad you are keeping those fingers busy.

My Nana was Charlotte - I love that name. My new granddaughter is called Florence and I would love it if they called her Charlotte as well.

    1. My Granny was Lilley Georgina, that is the only time I have seen her name spelled so. My Mum was Gwendoline Ruby, I am Pamela Joan, quite restrained.

  4. Hi, Pam, good to see you back and you've been so busy. Although definitely not a royalist, I love the baby's name. I think that nowadays most Charlotte's end up shortened to Charlie, rather than Lottie, but then again old-fashioned names are making a comeback.

    1. I am no Royalist but I hope she does not become a Charlie, even is she is a little Angel. I was at school with a Charlotte and her name was never shortened.

    1. After almost a month gardening I welcomed the rain and sewed up a storm of scraps to get me back on track.

  6. Busy busy. Hope the sneezes stay at sneezes and don't turn in to a full blown cold. I think it would have been lovely for the baby to be given Elizabeth as her first name but I do like Charlotte.
