Where oh where have my photo's gone

I am perplexed, I took some photos  today to post and despite sending them twice they have not landed yet, they may well be floating around in the ether having a jolly holiday. If and when they land I will post them.

I have been gardening and got to the point where I had to stop and shower, it is very muggy here today. Then I emptied a shelf of my bookcase and had a sort out.

I have 2 quilting books that I have made everything from and a craft book that is mainly cards, this was sent to me with no indication of from whom or where, as I do not make cards I wondered if anybody would like it.

I also found a small stack of dressmaking patterns that came free with Prima magazine, I was given a subscription and elected to get the patterns on the basis that someone might like them.

This program is interrupted for a news announcement

The photo's have landed safe and sound.

These have given me lots of fun but I will not use them again.

I have no idea who sent this to me,I have never made cards and although I like them paper craft has no interest for me.

If one of you out there would like either one or all let me know.

There are 4 dresses, 2 tops and a jump suit in here, I do a bit of dressmaking but I have a pile of basic patterns that fit well and I use them over and over. Again if some one out there would like them let me know.

I have made a trip to the Charity Shop to drop off the white china and a few other bits and bobs. I  have stacked all the Prima magazines ready to take to work tonight, we have a book shelf in the canteen for break time reading material.

The next job on my list is my desk, it is just a tad messy( total shambles I am ashamed of myself) just lately i have opened the top and pushed things in without even looking. Knowing full well that the crunch point would come, well it is here and now. My punctuation went a bit haywire then but not to worry.
Tomorrow is Michael's birthday, he does not know what he would like for Dinner, he does not know how he would like to spend the day, he does not know how annoying it is!
If he is not careful I will take him to a few fabric shops and let him spend some money, only part joking, lol.
I have another follower, welcome I hope you enjoy my rambles I do tend to run on a bit, after all why use 1 word when 5 is better.. Once again I blame my Granny, she was a Gaff and all of her side of the family could talk up a storm. When she and her sister Rosina were together no one else got a word in edgeways.
I better call it a day now and get Dinner on the go, once again we are having salad, ham I think. i will make a Cottage pie for Fran, she is not a lover of greenstuff, well not salad anyway.
so it is TTFN    Pam

  1. I'd love to have a chance to have your quilting books. I've dabbled and studied a few videos on Youtube and would like to have a go at making a few different blocks. I'm rapidly running out of hours in a day, though. You did well with your dinner service, didn't you. How lucky. Enjoy your salad.
    Love from Mum

  2. Mum you are more than welcome, send me your snail mail address and I will send them off, my email is in my profile. There are never enough hours in the day that is why my desk is such a disaster area. My salad was delish and i finished myself off with a chopped up Kiwi fruit topped with one of your oaty biscuit bars crubled up and the last dollop of clotted cream, I made some fudge for my neighbour.

  3. You have had a busy day today, I thought it was your day off! We had salad tonight, Tuna mayo with jacket spud. Frugal Bacon chops tomorrow :-)

  4. Oh Pam, I feel for you, I really do. What is it about men? They are so difficult to buy for unless they have a hobby/imterest/passion - and even then unless they give you a helpful list you daren't get them anything incase they've already got one! It's the same with meals. "what d'you fancy for Saturday supper?" I asks, nicely. "Oh, I'm easy Pet," says he. GGgggrrrrrr! NOT helpful!

And I will join you in the messy desk parade too, I don't know HOW it happens. but it's always a chaotic jumble. I think the fairies pop in during the night. I wish they'd do a bit of ironing while they're at it!

    1. He has until we come home from work to make a decision, then he will get what he is given, the trouble is once he gets his hands on the router he will be off to his man cave, and I will get no sense out of him.

  5. I rewarded myself for all my work with an hour on the sofa with a book. We haven't had tuna mayo for ages, next week maybe. I saw some sardine butter on a blog earlier and quite fancy that on toast.

  6. OOo, I'd love to be entered for the country friends go quilting book if I may?
It looks perfect for some recycled fabrics I have!

I've yet to start my new blog, so I'll sign this off on my old one.
    Have a great evening :)

    1. Donna I have promised that to Mum but I have a stack of quilting magazines and will gladly send some your way. Just email me your snail mail address, my email is on my profile.

  7. Taking Michael to the fabric shop is a wonderful idea! My husband can't bebothered about his birthday..he often has to be reminded!

  8. I am afraid that it will not happen until my birthday, we had a very hard night at work and Michael is still asleep, I have been up long enough for 2 pots of tea and to fill the oven with cakes, my word they smell good.

  9. Hope he had a wonderful birthday! Whatever you did!

How lovely are you giving things away!

    Sft x

    1. What goes around comes around, If I have something that I no longer need I would far rather give it to someone who can make good use of than bin it ( recycle bin ). Most of these things are too craft specific to go to the charity shop. Plus it is my nature. Pam
