The last stitch in the last block.
All 20 ready to assemble.
I just have to cut the 1 inch strips to join these up and decide on the binding.
On a continuing happy note these dropped on my door mat today.
Binding clips, I have seen them in use on several blogs and thought that it must be better than using dozens of pins.
And quite a bit of this.
Hand Picked Daisies from Joel Dewberry.
All of this came from Pink Castle Fabrics in the US, all were on sale and I got a further 20% off.
Postage was reasonable and made for very cheap fabric.
I could not resist such a bargain,I am waiting for my Blue Bonnet fabric to arrive and I have some new fabric from nearer to home to show but these will be for another day.
The weather report that I saw in the early hours told of heavy rain today, well it was wrong, the sun is shining and it is lovely.
I am off now to put my new treasures away and make more tea so once again it is TTFN Pam
the material in the 3rd photo is beautiful what are you going to make with it?
ReplyDeleteConfession time , gulp, I just love Bonnie and Camille's fabrics and whenever I see them in a sale I buy. Francesca picked some charms out for a summer quilt and it barely made a dent in my stash. I am waiting for Happy Go Lucky to hit the shops as yardage.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a quilt as you go quilt! I am so intrigued! How do you attach them all now you've quilted them on their own?
ReplyDeleteLove you're blog. I've been reading for a while now, but as I haven't got my new blog up and running yet, I haven't commented. But I just had to one this one! :)
Have a lovely weekend.
Kindest regards,
Donna
I think that the easiest way to show you is to take photos as I do it and post them, keep reading it will be in the next few days. Pam
