It's Good News Day.

Well it is for me, I had the happy news from James and Cerys that baby number 3 will be joining us in the new year.

Last night I had the cat blocks well on the way.

The last 2 done to 8" by 10". Just a little tidying up before I decide what to do with them.

Then the phone call and look what happened.

This will be a floor quilt for the new baby, as the border is so busy I am going to bind it with the same fabric. I did try lots of fabric from the stash but could not find anything that I liked.

I turned round and look at this cheeky pair. They are now in disgrace.

The top is layered and I have started to quilt it.

My Impossible Quiche dinner, it was so tasty and very filling and the recipe made 4 very greedy servings.

I am back to my quilt.

  10. Wonderful news! The quilt will be perfect - so many interesting, stimulating patterns, shapes and colours to catch his/her eye.

My son married last week and I am so excited (but not telling them - don't want to cause pressure) because they say they hope to start a family ASAP. I miss my classes of small people so much and would love to be a grandma!
